KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended firmer today despite a lower cash market, dealers said.
At close, the KLCI futures for November 2009 gained two points to 1,273.0, the December 2009 and June 2010 contracts rose 2.5 points each to 1,273.5 and 1,280.0 respectively, and March 2010 increased three points to to 1,276.5.
The day's volume was lower at 3,168 lots compared to 5,625 lots last Friday while open interest rose to 18,695 contracts from 18,594 contracts previously.
On the cash market, the underlying FBM KLCI shed 3.48 points to 1,270.88 at 5pm. -- BERNAMA
