FBM KLCI FUTURES EASIER IN EARLY SESSION

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was traded easier this morning despite a firm cash market, dealers said. At 9.38am, November and December 2009 KLCI futures each dropped four points to 1,269.0 and 1,269.5, respectively.

March 2010 fell five points to 1,271.5 and June 2010 slipped two points to 1,278.0. Turnover stood at 1,732 lots while open interest totalled 18,853 contracts. On the cash market, the underlying FBM KLCI gained 0.97 of a point to 1,271.85.
