LAST VICTIM OF BRIDGE COLLAPSE FOUND

KAMPAR, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- The body of the last of the three victims of the Monday bridge collapse at Sungai Kampar here was found today.

Kampar OCPD Supt Aziz Yusof said the body of Diryasree Vasudevan, 12, of Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Gopeng, was found at 10.45am near the Tronoh Mine, Sungai Kinta, 25km from the scene of the collapse.

The body had been taken to the Kampar Hospital for a post-mortem.

Twenty-two pupils were on the suspension bridge when it collapsed on Monday night. Nineteen were rescued while three were swept away by the swift currents.

The bodies of the other two victims were found on Tuesday and last night.
