DIJAYA CORPORATION BHD has proposed to acquire 36 pieces of vacant leasehold land measuring 7,131 sq metres in Damansara, Selangor for RM19.5 million in a move to increase its land bank for development.

The acquisition is to be undertaken through Mawar Hebat Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tropicana Golf & Country Resort Bhd, which in turn is fully-owned by Dijaya. -- BERNAMA

WIDETECH (MALAYSIA) BHD announced that Lao-Malaysia Investments Group (LMIG) has entered into a Gaming Club Management and Revenue Sharing Agreement with Savan Vegas Hotel and Casino Co Ltd (SV) to jointly operate a gaming club in Riveria Hotel in Laos owned by LMIG.

LMIG is a 75 per cent-owned subsidiary of Asia Pacific Winning Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Widetech. -- BERNAMA

SIME DARBY BHD has established a new subsidiary in China called Sime Darby (China) Enterprise Management Company Ltd with registered capital of US$10 million.

It said the new subsidiary will provide services to enterprises established in China by the Sime Darby Group in terms of human resource management, corporate management, economic information consultation, investment information consultation and services out-sourced by overseas companies. -- BERNAMA
