QL RESOURCES BHD's pre-tax profit rose to RM33.921 million in its second quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, from RM30.471 million in the same quarter last year.

Its revenue however decreased to RM337.167 million from RM391.620 million previously.

For the six-month period, the company posted a pre-tax profit of RM61.248 million and revenue of RM693.508 million. -- BERNAMA

EMIVEST BHD recorded a higher pre-tax profit of RM6.668 million for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, compared to RM4.440 million in the same quarter last year.

Its revenue however fell to RM164.869 million from RM183.128 million previously.

For the nine-month period, the company posted a pre-tax profit of RM16.723 million and revenue of RM475.150 million. -- BERNAMA

HOVID BHD recorded a pre-tax profit of RM11.954 million for its first quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, from a pre-tax loss of RM8.359 million in the same quarter last year.

HAP SENG PLANTATIONS HOLDINGS BHD's pre-tax profit fell to RM30.954 million for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, from RM62.023 million in the same quarter last year.

Its revenue decreased to RM90.368 million from RM125.509 million previously.

During the nine-month period, the company posted a pre-tax profit of RM80.767 million and revenue of RM256.295 million. -- BERNAMA

MYCRON STEEL BHD recorded a pre-tax loss of RM3.734 million for its first quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, from a pre-tax profit of RM3.530 million in the same quarter last year.

YNH PROPERTY BHD's pre-tax profit fell to RM18.006 million for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, from RM30.620 million in the same quarter last year.

Its revenue however increased to RM84.886 million from RM80.064 million previously.
