TSH RESOURCES BHD has reported that pre-tax profit for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, dropped to RM26.877 million from RM32.127 million in same quarter last year.

Revenue declined to RM203.669 million from RM322.035 million previously.

For the first nine months, pre-tax profit went down to RM62.132 million from RM111.903 million in the same period a year ago.

Its revenue during the nine-month period went down to RM696.366 million from RM945.028 million previously. -- BERNAMA

MBM RESOURCES BHD's pre-tax profit went down to RM30.587 million in its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, from RM42.646 million recorded in same quarter a year ago.

Revenue dropped to RM304.995 million from RM314.867 million previously.

For the first nine months, pre-tax profit declined to RM63.803 million from RM130.860 million in the same period last year.

Its revenue during the nine-month period decreased to RM830.867 million from RM889.687 million previously. -- BERNAMA

STAR PUBLICATIONS (MALAYSIA) BHD has reported that pre-tax profit for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, declined to RM46.553 million from RM56.304 million in same quarter last year.

Revenue, however, rose to RM243.811 million from RM202.968 million previously.

For the first nine months, pre-tax profit dropped to RM119.293 million from RM177.602 million in same period last year.

Revenue during the nine-month period was higher at RM659.380 million compared to RM619.450 million previously. -- BERNAMA
