Japanese consumer prices rise 1.0 percent in November

TOKYO (AFP) - - Japan's core consumer prices rose 1.0 percent in November from a year earlier, official figures showed Friday.
Core consumer prices rose for a 14th straight month, but at a slower pace than before.
The latest figures came slightly lower than market expectations of a 1.1 percent rise. Falling energy prices have been driving down overall prices in recent months.
